This program is for LEVEL 3 and LEVEL 4 – IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- The program is aimed at persons in well control critical positions during well intervention operations.
- Candidates are required to complete an IWCF accredited training course prior to assessment.
- Course content will be taught according to the IWCF syllabus and will prepare candidates for the IWCF assessments.
- Assessment consists of written examination only.
- Certificates for Level 2 are valid for 5 years
- Certificates for Level 3 and 4 are valid for 2 years
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Three levels are available:
- Level 2 – Drilling and Wells Personnel Basic Training (new)
- Level 3 – Any role expected to shut in a well (equivalent to old level 1)
- Level 4 – Well site supervisor Training (equivalent to old level 2)
