About This Certification
Fritmandiri Utama in cooperation with PETROLEUM TRAINING SERVICES (PTS -THAILAND) offer IADC WellSharp™ International Drilling Certification Course in Indonesia.
The program is designed to provide personnel with International Training & Certification to meet the terminal objectives of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
Designed For
Drilling Representatives, Drilling Supervisors, Toolpushers, Drillers, Assistant Driller, who desire IADC certification as a Driller and Drilling Supervisor or personnel employed in oil well drilling.
Before joining the course, the participant should be familiar with Kill Sheet and able to use calculator for math operations.
IADC Test
- Test will be conducted by IADC Approved Instructor
- Test levels: Driller and Supervisor
- Type of tests: Skill Assessment (simulator test) and Knowledge Assessment (online test)
- A minimum score of 70% in each test must be achieved to receive IADC certificate
RE-SIT
Those with score in between 50-69 is entitled to take 1 Re-assessment within 45 days after the initial Exam.

- Pressure and well volume calculations
- Pressure reduction due to improper hole fill up & U-tube concepts
- SCR, LOT, FIT, Equivalent mud density and Maximum mud density
- Kick fundamentals and shut-in procedures
- Gas characteristics and behavior
- Well control techniques and organizing a well kill operation
- Introduction to well control equipment
